Lobster V Notcher Plier

Product Description 

Purpose made in stainless steel V Notcher  Plier for marking lobsters in conservation scheme areas. Each set is corrosion resistant and features a rounded Anti-Split V notch, to prevent running cracks in the carapace.

V-notching is the process of marking and releasing females. Landing of V-notched lobsters is prohibited, therefore allowing more females to lay eggs as part of the effort to re-build lobster stocks. Each Lobster will carry the V for approximately three years.
